We Love College Students!

Whether you're ready to graduate this year, or have a few more semester ahead of you, BHI can help you prepare for a great career.
For College Students

You: a graduating college student with a wealth of knowledge accumulated over the last few years. You have undergone a rigorous routine of tests, research, and study. Now you are set to graduate and apply your technical skills and ideas out into the real world. What is going to happen to you once you are out of school?

At Bohannan Huston, you will have the chance to help build solutions with state-of-the-art equipment and the very best people. You can process laser-scanned data into important technical information at the highest accuracy, or apply 3d modeling software with GIS to visualize an interchange design. You will build lasting relationships with fellow professionals. The options are limitless. You will have the full opportunity to apply your talent and grow.

Student Programs

Bohannan Huston offers student intern and co-op positions. Both give you work experience while acquainting you with the company's organization and culture. A co-op student is someone who is enrolled in a cooperative education program at an accredited four or five-year college or university leading to a bachelor's or advanced degree. Co-ops may work for a full six-month period beginning in January or June. Interns usually work during the summer or between terms. We place students in positions related to their academic area of interest or their career goals. Salary is based on the student's year in school.

Working at Bohannan Huston while you are in school not only gives you a great chance to apply your classroom knowledge to the real world, it gives our management an opportunity to get to know you and identify your potential. If the experience is mutually successful, you'll be at the top of our list for consideration upon graduation.

What to Expect

Whether you choose to join us as an intern or co-op or to begin your career with us, you can expect to grow and be challenged. You'll be assigned to projects that hone your technical skills and deepen your understanding. You'll work side-by-side with staff willing to share their experience and knowledge. You won't be bored.

Our multi-day employee orientation program introduces you to company policies and procedures, computer basics, and fundamental business concepts. You'll take a tour of projects we're currently working on and/or visit past successes. Our Peer Program eases the transition during your first few weeks. On-the-job training, targeted formal classes on technical topics, and lunchtime "brown bag" informational seminars are also available on a regular basis.
